Spanish 2 develops language culture skills through real-world conversations, reading and listening tasks, and cultural topics from across the Spanish-speaking world.
Students expand essential vocabulary and grammar while building confidence in structured expression and interaction across various personal and cultural themes.
Emphasis is placed on communication strategies, narrative skills, and multicultural understanding to prepare learners for independent use of Spanish in academic and global contexts.
This level bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate fluency, empowering students with the tools for confident, culturally responsive communication.

Spanish II builds on the foundation developed in Spanish I, guiding students toward greater independence in their language use. Students engage with short stories, articles, dialogues, and cultural videos that reflect real-world usage. This course prepares students to reach CEFR A2–B1 proficiency.
