Health, Arts & Wellness Program

The Health Arts & Wellness Program at Summit College Prep integrates physical health, creative expression, and emotional well-being into a unified educational journey. This program is designed for students who seek balance, self-awareness, and purpose-driven growth, encouraging lifelong habits of wellness and self-expression.

Through a blend of movement, mindfulness, visual arts, and health education, students explore how creative activities impact mental health, emotional regulation, and community engagement. The Health Arts & Wellness Program teaches students to set personal goals, reflect through journaling, and build habits that foster self-care and resilience.

With a project-based approach, students engage in interdisciplinary work that combines art-making with health science topics such as nutrition, physical activity, and emotional intelligence. Wellness logs, visual storytelling, and portfolio reflection are central to the program, helping students connect their inner lives to their academic learning.

The Health Arts & Wellness Program supports all learners, including multilingual and neurodiverse students. It empowers each individual to find their voice, manage stress, and cultivate healthy routines. Aligned with 21st-century learning goals, this program promotes balance, creativity, and lifelong wellness skills.

Instructional Structure

All courses are delivered through live online sessions in small groups or 1:1 formats. Each course runs across the academic year, emphasizing participation, reflection, and creativity in a supportive environment.
