Graduation Requirements
At Summit College Preparatory School, our Graduation Requirements policy guides students across all diploma pathways. We offer the Standard Diploma, Honors Diploma, and College Preparatory Diploma, each tailored to prepare learners for success beyond high school. Each program reflects high standards in academic rigor, ethical responsibility, and skill development.
As outlined in the Summit College Preparatory Student Handbook:
"All students must complete at least 22 academic credits to graduate. Credits must reflect coursework aligned with their selected diploma track. In addition, students must maintain regular attendance, meet behavior standards, and demonstrate academic integrity."
Credit Distribution by Diploma Path
The credit structure varies based on academic ambition. All students must earn credits across key subjects: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, PE, Fine Arts, and Electives. Students pursuing the College Prep Diploma are also required to complete an advanced project and maintain a higher GPA.
