Governance & Legal Oversight
Transparent Structure. Legal Integrity. Academic Accountability.
Summit College Preparatory School operates under a clearly defined governance and legal oversight framework. This structure ensures full compliance with U.S. nonprofit law, promotes transparency, and strengthens academic accountability. As a result, we protect the integrity of our institution and uphold trust with students, families, and stakeholders worldwide.
Legal Status and Governance
Summit College Preparatory School is a legally incorporated nonprofit private school operating under the laws of the State of Florida. We promote academic excellence while ensuring administrative and legal compliance at every level.
Summit College Preparatory School, Inc. is a Florida-registered nonprofit (EIN 35-2902478) with IRS 501(c)(3) status approved on July 24, 2025 (effective May 28, 2025).
Academic Governance and Oversight
A dual-governance model ensures robust academic operations. While the Academic Director leads curriculum design and academic integrity, the Educational Advisory Board provides strategic oversight aligned with international standards.
Rather than relying on informal decisions, all grading, advancement, and conduct matters follow documented policies. Therefore, consistency and fairness remain central to our academic model.
Policy Framework and Compliance
Summit maintains a clear policy structure that includes academic records, grading scales, academic honesty, privacy rights, and FERPA compliance. These guidelines apply to all faculty, students, and parents without exception.
Accreditation and Institutional Growth
Since our launch in August 2025, we have remained committed to developing a high-impact, student-centered academic experience. Our four-year program began with Grade 9 and continues to expand each year.
While we progress through formal accreditation pathways, our focus stays on verified learning, academic rigor, and college preparation. We invest in experienced faculty, digital tools, and individualized support. Through these efforts, we ensure measurable academic outcomes.
Governance Mission and Future Accreditation
From inception, we have aligned our internal systems with accreditation standards. After three full academic years of operation, we will formally apply for recognition through eligible U.S.-based accreditation agencies.
Our governance framework reflects long-term planning and accountability. By prioritizing legal compliance and transparency, we build sustained trust with families and global partners.
Commitment to Families, Educators, and Students
Our entire team shares a unified mission: to uphold academic integrity, foster legal accountability, and prepare students for global university access. Through policy-driven systems, we ensure support is reliable, personalized, and future-focused.
