French 2: Deepening Language Skills and Cultural Competence

French 2: Language and Culture builds upon the foundations established in French 1 by expanding vocabulary, grammar, and fluency. Students refine their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities through structured practice and cultural immersion.
In French 2: Language and Culture, students engage with authentic materials including songs, videos, short texts, and dialogues. Emphasis is placed on everyday communication and comprehension of more complex sentence structures.
Cultural exploration remains a key part of French 2: Language and Culture. Learners examine traditions, customs, and social practices in Francophone countries while drawing connections to their own experiences.
The course supports learners in expressing opinions, narrating events, and participating in conversations on familiar topics. Students enhance their writing through guided compositions and structured responses in French.
French 2: Language and Culture equips students with the confidence and skills to interact in diverse French-speaking contexts and prepares them for advanced language study.
