French 1: Foundations introduces students to the French language through immersive and interactive learning. The course emphasizes the four key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

In French 1: Foundations, students learn basic vocabulary, sentence structures, pronunciation, and conversational phrases used in everyday communication. Lessons are supported by audio practice, simple dialogues, and contextual grammar.

Cultural understanding is an integral part of French 1: Foundations. Students explore the cultures, traditions, and geography of French-speaking regions around the world while comparing them to their own.

Students gradually build confidence and fluency by engaging in guided exercises and independent tasks. Through written assignments and oral responses, they gain the ability to express themselves in simple, correct French.

French 1: Foundations prepares learners to continue their language journey with strong communication fundamentals and a growing appreciation for the French-speaking world.
