Students will engage in real-world conversations, detailed writing, and nuanced reading in Mandarin Chinese. Themes include global perspectives, personal development, education, technology, and social interaction. Activities emphasize cultural sensitivity and authentic use of language in modern contexts.
Through Chinese 3: Independent Communication, learners gain the ability to articulate ideas clearly, defend opinions, and participate in academic or everyday discussions. The course prepares students for success in Chinese 4 or AP Chinese Language and Culture.
