How to Apply
A personal and purposeful process for families seeking more than just schooling.
Admissions Philosophy
Summit High School admits students through a selective process designed to identify those who are academically ready and personally committed to a structured, multilingual education. We do not ask for perfection—we ask for honesty, depth, and intention.
We accept a limited number of students each year. Families are encouraged to apply early, especially for full-time enrollment, high school coursework, or dual-credit pathways.
Application Steps
1. Prepare and Submit Your Application
- Academic Transcripts: Last three years, with certified translations if needed
- Parent Reflection Letter: A one-page description of student strengths and needs
- Student Essay: 500 words on “Why am I looking for a new school? What am I hoping to find?”
- Optional Video Introduction: 2–3 minutes introducing themselves (no academic content required)
- Identification Document: Passport or national ID
- English Proficiency: Required for students whose prior schooling was not in English
- Optional Materials: Portfolios, recommendations, awards, or test scores
2. Application Review
We evaluate each application holistically and prioritize students who:
- Are fluent in English and studying at least two other languages
- Are prepared for six-day-per-week structured study
- Perform at or above grade level in core subjects
- Show academic maturity and ethical responsibility
3. Personal Conversation
If your file aligns with our standards, we will invite you to a personal video conversation with our admissions team. This is not an interview—it’s a respectful dialogue to understand the student’s context, goals, and readiness.
4. Decision & Next Steps
Decisions are issued within 7–10 business days after the family conversation. Admitted students receive:
- Formal letter of acceptance
- A personalized Individual Learning Plan (ILP)
- Onboarding support: orientation + course registration
- Start date (monthly entry windows)
A Note on Selectivity
We do not admit everyone. This is not about exclusivity—it is about alignment. Summit is a small school with a focused academic and human culture. We welcome students who are ready for that experience.
