Florida Nonprofit Online High School
Diploma-Granting • Grades 9–12
A Florida-based online high school delivering a personalized U.S. curriculum for grades 9–12 to students anywhere in the world.

How It Works - Live on Zoom Pro
Real teaching. Clear progress. Live classes on Zoom Pro; attendance and contact minutes tracked. An Individual Learning Plan (ILP) maps weekly modules to a 26‑credit diploma. Major assessments are proctored; feedback and mastery evidence are recorded in Microsoft 365.
Grade 9 Entry - Course Catalog & ILP
Start in Grade 9. Aim high. A college-prep core in English, mathematics, science, social studies, world languages, and fine arts/electives. Weekly modules keep pacing clear; the ILP personalizes acceleration and support while meeting the 26-credit diploma requirement.

Our Services

University Guidance & Outcomes
At Summit College Preparatory School, students prepare for university admission through a live, structured program. We combine 1‑to‑1 teaching with small-group seminars when collaboration adds value. Counselors and faculty coordinate so every student moves with purpose, evidence, and confidence.
Personalized Academic Pathways
Planning & Milestones
Each student follows an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) aligned to a 26‑credit diploma and university goals. The ILP sets quarterly targets, weekly modules, and verified assessments expectations are clear and progress is measurable.
Multilingual & Gifted Pathways
Language Benchmarks
Students build academic English and choose two additional languages—Spanish, French, German, or Chinese. We coach toward internationally recognized benchmarks such as CEFR C1–C2 and HSK 6 so graduates present verified proficiency, not just course titles.
Dual Enrollment & Research
College Credit & Evidence
Eligible students take dual‑enrollment courses with advising and pursue faculty-mentored research, publication, or competition entries. Portfolios include authentic artifacts admissions offices can verify.
University Guidance
Four-Year Strategy
Beginning in Grade 9, counselors map a four-year plan, build a balanced college list, manage deadlines, and coach essays, interviews, and portfolios, so students advance with a clear admissions roadmap and timely feedback.
Verified Records & Outcomes
What Transcripts Show
We issue official transcripts listing course titles by term, credits, final grades, grading scale, GPA method, and any honors or advanced weighting. Records align to Carnegie units and demonstrated mastery.
Why It Matters
Universities and testing agencies can verify records through our counselor/registrar. This structured, human, multilingual model prepares Summit students to thrive in selective universities worldwide.

Assessment Integrity & Verified Learning
Assessment Integrity that Builds Confidence
Students show what they know in live, proctored settings. Major assessments run on Zoom Pro with attendance and camera on; when appropriate we add screen share and a brief room scan. Teachers score with calibrated rubrics, check Microsoft 365 version history, and hold short oral defenses. As a result, learning is verified and feedback turns quickly into growth.
Mastery-Based Grading that Prepares Students
We record instructional minutes and align course time to Carnegie units, yet grades reflect demonstrated mastery not seat time. Students revise with targeted guidance and add new evidence to a living portfolio of essays, problem sets, and language recordings. Therefore, graduates present credible, college-ready work and records that universities and testing agencies trust.
ILP - Individualized Learning Plans (1:1 Advantage)
ILP-Guided Instruction for High-Achieving Students
Every Summit student learns through an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). We prioritize 1-to-1 teaching because it accelerates growth; when collaboration adds value, we add small-group seminars. The ILP links courses, languages, research, and timelines to a verified 26-credit diploma and clear university goals.
Diagnostics Plan & Action
We begin with placement diagnostics and a transcript/portfolio review, then set quarterly targets for core subjects and languages. The ILP spells out weekly modules, readings, assessments, and enrichment so students always know what to do and why.
Weekly Cadence and Mastery
Students meet live on Zoom Pro, submit work in Microsoft 365, and advance by mastery. Teachers record attendance and contact minutes, proctor major assessments, and use rubrics and oral defenses to confirm understanding.
Data, Feedback, and Acceleration
Mentors review progress every two weeks and monthly, adjust pacing, and unlock acceleration in areas of strength while targeting specific gaps. As a result, gifted learners move faster without losing structure.
Family Updates and Records
We provide written feedback, milestone reports, and counselor check-ins. The ILP aligns directly with the transcript (course titles by term, credits, grades, grading scale, GPA method, honors/advanced weighting), so universities can verify growth through our counselor.
