Summit Scholar of Distinction
The Summit Scholar of Distinction is the highest academic honor conferred by Summit College Preparatory School. Eligibility Criteria: Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher throughout high school. They are required to complete a minimum of 10 advanced-level courses across core disciplines, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies. Demonstrated proficiency in at least three world languages through advanced coursework or standardized assessments is essential. Additionally, students must undertake and complete an independent research project or thesis, showcasing their ability to conduct in-depth academic inquiry. A minimum of 100 hours of community service is required, reflecting a commitment to civic responsibility and leadership. Active participation in extracurricular activities and holding leadership positions in school or community organizations are also considered.
