Grievance and Complaint Procedures

Title IX Coordinator
The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for overseeing compliance with Title IX, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities. The coordinator will ensure that all employees, including faculty, staff, and administrators, are trained and familiar with Summit’s non-discrimination policies. Additionally, the Title IX Coordinator is tasked with investigating complaints related to sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence.

Retaliation and Protection
Summit College Preparatory School strictly prohibits retaliation against individuals who report discrimination, harassment, or participate in investigations related to discrimination claims. Retaliation includes any adverse action, such as bullying, harassment, or other mistreatment. Any retaliation will be met with immediate corrective action, up to and including termination of employment or dismissal from the School.
