Academic Administration
Ana Mercedes Baez – Principal and Academic Program Administrator
Baez brings over 30 years of experience in higher education, specializing in advanced mathematics and calculus instruction at the university level. As Principal and designated AP Administrator, she directs the school's instructional framework, compliance procedures, teacher coordination, and external partnerships, including alignment with College Board and accreditation standards.
Mr. Ronald – Academic Coordinator and Advanced Coursework Coordinator
Mr. Ronald, a certified German secondary educator, oversees instruction in German and coordinates academic planning, program compliance, and standardized exam alignment. With over 25 years of experience in language education and curriculum development, he is designated as the future AP Coordinator, responsible for managing the school's AP program in accordance with College Board guidelines.
Ms. Angelica Smith – Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Angelica is a seasoned business administrator with a strong background in educational operations. She oversees administrative functions, ensuring efficient school management and supporting the academic mission of Summit College Preparatory School.

Ms. Pearl – Instructor of English, Biology, and World History
Ms. Pearl, originally from Nigeria, holds advanced degrees in English Literature and Biology. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she delivers high-level academic content across the humanities and life sciences. Her courses emphasize critical reading, structured writing, scientific reasoning, and historical analysis, supporting strong college-preparatory outcomes across disciplines.
Mr. Khalil – Instructor of Mathematics and Calculus
Mr. Khalil, from Pakistan, is a certified public school teacher with over 11 years of experience teaching mathematics and calculus. He teaches Algebra, Precalculus, and AP-level Calculus with a focus on conceptual understanding, applied problem-solving, and college-readiness in quantitative reasoning.
Ms. Angie – Instructor of Spanish Language and Culture
Ms. Angie, a Panamanian educator, is a certified public school teacher specializing in Spanish as a Second Language (SSL). With over 12 years of experience, she brings expertise in immersive instruction, advanced language proficiency, and cultural fluency.
Ms. Meyling – Instructor of Mandarin Chinese
Ms. Meyling, a government-certified teacher from China, has over 9 years of experience teaching Mandarin in public schools. She delivers certified instruction in Mandarin, integrating communicative proficiency, cultural understanding, and progressive language acquisition for global readiness.
Mr. Abdersak – Instructor of French Language and Culture
Mr. Abdersak, originally from Algeria, is a certified French teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching in public schools. He specializes in immersive instruction and prepares students for international language certifications.
